Active and retired military receive free Museum admission all year. Army & Air Force Exchange Service – AAFES Veterans Day Deals:
In honor of Veterans Day, the Army & Air Force Exchange Service is saluting those who served with free commemorative challenge coins.
This is seventh year PXs and BXs worldwide will distribute coins to Veterans on Nov. 11. The giveaway is part of a joint effort by military resale—including the Navy Exchange Service Command, Marine Corps Exchange and Coast Guard Exchange—to honor those who have worn our Nation’s uniform.

All members of the military will receive free admission to the zoo on Veterans Day. Colorado Parks and Wildlife FREE Admission on Veterans Day:
Active duty and veterans are admitted free to Colorado state parks on Veteran’s Day. The military member or Veteran must show proof of military service (photo ID, DD-214). All other park fees (camping, etc.) are still charged. Please visit their website for details.

Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum Veterans Day FREE Admission:
The Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum will honor active-duty and retired armed services members with free Museum admission on Veterans Day, Tuesday, November 11. As an additional token of thanks to the United States Armed Forces, past and present, the Museum will also extend free admission for up to three immediate family members.
Between 10 a.m. and noon in the Museum’s Taylor Swift Education Center, visitors will also have the opportunity to share appreciation for our military members and their families by creating postcards for active-duty troops. Active duty and retired armed services members will also receive a 10% discount at the Museum Store and the Hatch Show Print retail store on Tuesday, November 11.

Great Clips provides service members with free haircuts on Veterans Day
Thank a Veteran works in two ways. First, every year on November 11, veterans and active service members can come into any U.S. Great Clips salon and get a free haircut, or a free haircut card for a future visit. So if you’re a service member or veteran, be sure to stop by a salon on Veterans Day so we can say “Thank you!”
Second, if you’re a non-military customer, you can visit a salon on November 11 and receive a free haircut card to give to a service member or veteran as a way of saying thank you.

National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Copperstown FREE Admission:
The National Baseball Hall of Fame and Museum in Cooperstown will honor U.S. military veterans by offering free admission throughout November 2025. Veterans must present proof of service, such as a Department of Defense Form 214, VA ID, or a driver’s license marked “Veteran,” at the admissions desk. On Veterans Day, the museum will feature special programming including an Artifact Spotlight on Hall of Famers who served, self-guided tours highlighting veteran players, and a letter-writing activity for military personnel. Active-duty and career-retired military continue to receive free admission year-round, while other veterans are eligible for discounted admission on non-free days.
National Parks FREE Entrance on Veterans Day:
National parks are America’s best idea, and there are more than 400 parks available to everyone, every day. The fee-free days provide a great opportunity to visit a new place or an old favorite, especially one of the national parks that normally charge an entrance fee. The others are free all the time. The entrance fee waiver for fee-free days does not cover amenity or user fees for activities such as camping, boat launches, transportation, or special tours. Free annual pass. Available for: Current U.S. military members and dependents in the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and Coast Guard as well as Reserve and National Guard members.
New Zoo (Green Bay, WI) FREE Admission:
In honor of Veterans Day, the NEW Zoo & Adventure Park will once again offer free admission* to the NEW Zoo and to the Neil Anderson Canopy Tour for veterans, active-duty military personnel, and their immediate families on Tuesday, November 11th. In the Mayan Restaurant, our guests of honor can enjoy free coffee, hot chocolate, cappuccino, or soda along with cookies while supplies last. The Gift Shop will also offer a 20% discount for veterans on all regularly priced items.
The NEW Zoo is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in November – including on all upcoming holidays! If you need somewhere to rest and warm up during your walk around the zoo, you can always pop into the Mayan Restaurant and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate or coffee, too. The Neil Anderson Canopy Tour opens daily at 9:00 a.m., with the final tour departing at 3:30 p.m. except on Thanksgiving Day when it will be closed. Fat tire bike rentals are also available at the Adventure Park Base Camp Building daily starting at 9:00 a.m. whenever trails are open. The Adventure Park’s zip lines, climbing wall, and ropes challenge course are closed for the season.

The New York City Veterans Day Parade is the largest Veterans Day commemoration in the nation. Nearly 300 elements consisting of 20,000 marchers and 150+ vehicles proceed up NYC’s iconic Fifth Avenue in the heart of Manhattan: America’s Most Patriotic mile!
The Marine Corps is this year’s featured service for the event, which will march up Fifth Avenue between 25th and 45th streets in Manhattan from 12:30 to 3:30 p.m.. It will be broadcast live on WABC in New York.
The parade is expected to feature nearly 300 marching and vehicle units and welcome 20,000 participants from across America, representing every service branch of the military and every era.
Pro Football (NFL) Hall of Fame Veterans Day Event and Expo FREE Admission:
The Pro Football Hall of Fame will host its annual Veterans Day Event & Expo supported by Oswald Companies to honor military veterans on Tuesday, Nov. 11.
The day will include:
Free admission to all U.S. service members, National Guard members and veterans plus one (1) guest.
