Baltimore’s AMERICANA Restaurant To Hold Week-Long Event For Veterans

In the course of the first 15 months of operation, THE AMERICANA became a network of over 500 veterans. Several local veteran led non-profit organizations have joined the network; several jobs have been provided to veterans, and THE AMERICANA has become home for many veterans.

National Gathering Celebrates 2.5 million Women Who Have Served Our Nation’s Military

The Women in Military Service for America Memorial (WIMSA) has an average of 150,000 visitors per year. Foundation officials say they need $3 million annually to meet costs for the 33,000 square foot educational center. The Foundation also hopes to have 250,000 women veterans in the memorial’s historical record by the end of the year. They are just 301 shy that figure.
